So, I left Shanghai Saturday, August 6th at 8:00 AM. Despite typhoon Matsa the staff at UA told us we were still flying. We boarded the plane, drove up to the take off strip and waited about 2 hours and turned around. UA provided us with a hotel and food and blah blah. The flight on August 7th to San Francisco was supposed to depart at 12:30 but because all flights were canceled the day before, immigration took about 3,4 hours to get passed. So we took off at about 4ish instead and landed in SF 4 hours after our connection to MIA. Apparently SF is really lame and they don't have any connecting flights anywhere to Miami, they only offer flights to Miami ONCE A WEEEKK! Eventually they found us a connecting flight at 7AM to Duelles, Washington to Miami. Another day of flying... they booked us at the Sheraton, meal vouches and blah blah...Day 2 of flying. Next day, got up at 4AM due to jet lag, got to the airport by 6, arrived at Duelles at 4ish, arrived in Miami at 10PM.
My brain is fried, I feel like I'm still flying. Feel like I'm still moving up and down. One day left to visit friends then its off to Mexico Weds mornin' at 8AM!
What a vacation...

Everyone knows by now that mosquitos are my natural enemy.
In China, they're brutal!!!
Two nights in a row I've been attacked.
One morning I woke up with a huge swollen eye because a mosquito decided to perch upon my eye lid and suck whatever juices barely flow through there. Last night one attacked my fucking lip. I was woken up by a burning sensation in my lip, but I hadn't realized what happened. I thought maybe I bit it or something...then I tried to go back to sleep but a minute later my lip felt like it was going to explode! Everyone knows I have fat lips already, so when I tried to wake up my brother to ask what happened, I couldn't even say his name (Brian.) When he woke up he was really shocked, my lip was twice its normal (already fat) size. Then I had to walk around in public all day looking like a 'tard.
Tonight I have some raid made especailly for mosquitos, some mosquito plug in the wall zapper thing and an electric mosquito swatter. I've killed 8 in the room already and two more are flying around that I just can't get.
ITS WAR.

oh boy.
got a myspace (sirk_) ... i guess its just an easier way to slut your self around. i held off getting one for about a month, eventually boredom kicked in and i couldn't take it anymore.
my typing is really sloppy because i am lying down and it takes too much effort to prop my neck up and look at the keys when i make mistakes. "the glow of a lap top screen on a bed..., this is what i want." - Rafael Rivero.
Anywho, going to China Friday untill Aug 8. Going to Mexico Aug 10. (I bought the tickets already and I don't even know the parental units will OKAY the situation.)
Kinda sad that I won't get a chance to say farewell to most of my friends, but lets not get dramatic, I'll see the thanksgiving weekend or something.
Untill then...expect lots of picture posts from China...

She brings back the warmest feelings and memories with her.
